1 out of 5 stars disappointing   August 4, 2010

Just received this and so far disappointed. The manufacturers description on the website says there are 10 variations of the game - but there is no reference to what these might be on the limited instructions given. The tin is nice looking but is mostly packaging - there are 3 decks of cards inside and the rest of the space is taken up by packaging plastic. We are going on a long journey and so want to minimise the size of what we are bringing! Also you need to be able to read - the pictures are not enough to know what to look for. We will try this as a family game as suggested by another reviewer and hope that it proves worthwhile. I think I should have chosen a book with a variety of car games to play instead.

4 out of 5 stars Great for long journeys   April 30, 2010

I bought these cards for my son (aged 7) and my daughter (aged 5) to use whilst on a long car / train journey. They worked well and kept them occupied for quite a while although not all items are suitable for motorway driving but with a bit of parental sorting the game ticked along quite nicely. There are quite a few cards so I was able to use them for a few journeys. The bright tin is useful to ensure that they don't get lost in amongst all the other baggage that's in the car !

5 out of 5 stars Banish boring car journeys   February 20, 2010

We have had this game for a few years and have also bought it for friends. To get around the problem of not being able to spot certain items on some types of journey (eg you don't see many guesthouses on the motorway) we tend to play as a family. The eldest passenger holds around five cards and as soon as anyone spots one, another card replaces it. The challenge is to see how much of the pack you can get through in one journey. When playing this way children much younger than the recommended age of 6 can play - our 4 year old has been playing for a couple of years.

5 out of 5 stars A brilliant game that shortens the journey by miles !   July 19, 2009

This is a brilliant game that can be for all the family. My grandchildren are 10 and 8 so can read the cards but I have bought two more for my other children who are much younger but can recognize the pictures. It made a long journey considerably shorter and even more fun when played in teams. Thoroughly recommend it !

I bought this for my 6 year old daughter as we were going on a two and half hour trip to devon. Admittedly we didnt get much use out to the game because it asks you to spot things like a factory or red traffic lights - which is not much use when you are on a LONG stretch of motorway. The game is better geared to driving around towns but then it begs the question would you need this game then anyway?
