5 out of 5 stars Enjoyed this!   April 5, 2010
R.L. (British Columbia)
If you are interested in travel and in places less traveled this is really a great "documentary". You get to meet people who live along the way and see a bit of their culture as well. Ewan and Charlie are honest and entertaining hosts! I thoroughly enjoyed all the segments even though I don't ride a motorcycle. Maybe I'll take it up.

4 out of 5 stars A Triumph!   December 12, 2009
Ms. A. Name (The Plains in Spain)
It's McGreggor at his best. Never before have you seen such a unfiltered portrayal of the mystic land we know as AFRICA. It's an inspiration! Boorman is magnificant. Go out and buy this movie!

5 out of 5 stars Even better than Long Way Round   August 4, 2009
Cole Vander Helm (Vancouver, BC Canada)
I have to say that I wasn't too sure about this one. I mean, how could you beat Long Way Round? Well they did! This second series in the Long Way adventures is packed full of cultures, sites, laughs, and new bumpy roads. I would reccomend this series to any one of my friends.

5 out of 5 stars Long Way Down   July 12, 2009
Mrs. Marie Seabrook (Maple Ridge, B.C. Canada)
A super insight into the many countries and cultures of Africa. Educational as well as entertaining. I can really appreciate the discomforts they went through.

4 out of 5 stars Great! Wish I could do this.   April 29, 2009

Really easy viewing. Not edge of your seat stuff, but Ewan and Charlie have humour, empathy, enthusiasm in boatloads.
